Berliners for Ukraine (BER4UA) is a grassroots initiative of Berliners who share a long-term vision for an independent and ultimately self-sufficient Ukraine.
We have created this platform to enable support for Ukrainian humanitarian causes with payments processed in Germany. No administrative fees, no overhead. 100% of donations are going to carefully selected on-the-ground organizations in Ukraine.
Our past fundraise 2022: In February 2022, we came together with a single, urgent mission: to stand in solidarity with Ukraine and provide rapid, practical support to those affected by Russia's full-scale invasion. Our inaugural event was attended by 150 guests and raised over €40,000 in a single night.
Continuing Our Mission: Our community has remained steadfast in its commitment to supporting Ukrainians, including those seeking refuge in Berlin. As the unjustified and unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, we are launching our next major event under the theme 'Resilience.'
In 2024, BER4UA is dedicated to supporting two impactful Ukrainian NGOs that empower individuals to thrive despite the challenges they face in the ongoing war.
IMPACT FORCE focuses on programs designed to economically empower Ukrainians and promote social entrepreneurship.
UNBROKEN provides essential medical care to those who have suffered amputations.
These causes collectively aim to foster resilience, employment opportunities, active citizenship, and stability, ultimately preventing individuals from falling into a state of reliance on basic humanitarian relief.
When you donate, you can also support one cause exclusively or split your donation equally between the two.
EMPOWERING FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS
Economic stability is a cornerstone of Ukraine's resilience. Women and small businesses have a crucial role, as they have a great potential to positively impact entire communities. Strengthening both promotes stability and self-reliance in Ukraine.
Impact Force empowers Ukrainian women with digital skills, grants and practical advice to start and grow online businesses. They also run an Impact Business Accelerator that helps SMEs in Ukraine grow while incorporating social agendas into their business models.

LIVES
Estimates suggest that up to 50,000 Ukrainians have experienced severe limb trauma in the ongoing war.
UNBROKEN is a unique humanitarian ecosystem of projects located in Lviv, Ukraine, aimed at supporting those who have borne this enormous personal burden.
At the heart of the UNBROKEN ecosystem is the National Rehabilitation Center, which provides a spectrum of services, including emergency care, reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, and cutting-edge robotic prosthetics.
